Time seemed to have flown by as Dom sat in this quaint park. Many people were showing up now as time was approaching 2pm. Two hours of sitting and meditating to his own thoughts in one spot. He got many looks from passing people but he paid them little to no attention. He would finally get up and head toward leaving this little park area. He needed to return home to get his things before heading for work. He was gonna have a long day today.
As Dominic was walking along the sidewalk, exiting the park, he came to meet a young woman. Well it was not really a casual meeting as he bumped into here. Both happened to be looking in directions other than the one they were walking and WAM, impacto.
"Oh excuse! I'm so sorry, I should've been watching where I was going. Wait, I know you?" the girl would say hurriedly.
Dom had to readjust his hood and remove his hair from his face so he could see the woman clearly. He was slightly hesitant at her acclaimed recognition of his identity. As he looked at her he honestly could not say he knew this woman or recognized her.
"I'm sorry but who are you?" he would question innocently.
The woman would give him a look floating between offended and confused. She would intently stare at his face as if to make sure she was talking to the right person before speaking once more.
"You don't remember me? We went to the University together, we used to study for classes almost all the time together. I'm Sarah Varay. I can not believe you would forget me Dom, stop joking around. You're always playing." She would say laughingly in finish while throwing a playful punch to Dominic's shoulder.
Dominic's eyes narrowed slightly as he became annoyed with this woman's presence and persistence in receiving acknowledgement from him. He did not know this woman nor did he like her attitude.
"Sorry, I don't know you. I have to go." he would say bluntly before walking off from her.
The woman would be left their with a confused look on her face, wondering what was going on. "What happened to you?" she would ask outloud yet to no one within hearing range.
Dom would be gone now, no where in sight.
